Eco and Environmental Arts

Collaborating with the land, seasons, plants, mineral and other non human beings has become more of a focus to all my work, both for artistic, spiritual and political reasons.

Plants technologies and the alchemical practices of creating art making materials is a lifelong learning and somethings I’m excited to both lean and share with others.

In addition to creating with natural materials, is the practice of ritual and community based celebrations that honour this earth – one such project I have created to do this is the Harvest Full Moon Project, a site and community specific arts based engagement in the City of Richmond BC, in particular in the multi cultural and predominantly Mandarin and Cantonese speaking population of City Centre Community Centre.

A short video of from the first year of the project is here
